In one of the lowest scoring weeks in Waxball history, a former champ discovered a new rock bottom, a bleach-blonde top crushed a firecrotch bottom, and the Comeback Kid came in his pants.
As always, I'm your back baby, in the black, confident for no valid reason Stat Fag Nic Hamilton. Let's wrap up Week 6 of 2026.
MOSKO'S IMPOSSIBLE RESET
Mosko (comeback kid) completed Waxball's first-ever 0-3 to 3-3 reset by edging Havi (Papi Coop) 111.68-108.30 in this week's 100/100 Heated Rivalry. Three weeks ago he was alone at the bottom. Three consecutive wins later, he is one of six managers sitting on 3-3.
The 3.38pt escape gives Mosko a 3-2 series lead and preserves the rivalry's perfect 100/100 score. Three of the Jac/kobs' five meetings have now been decided by fewer than seven points, one of the other two being the 2024 Toilet Bowl final. This is a series that will be closely watched for years to come.
Mosko's turnaround reminds me a little of Erik (Pamela Mari Ohno Dagoberg) last year. After starting 2025 1-4, Erik spent the rest of the year renaming his team after each opponent's mother, winning eight of these battles and ending the regular season in 3rd place at 9-5. poonfullofsugar became comeback kid in Week 4, and the comeback kid has not lost since.
Havi, meanwhile, has lost consecutive 100/100 Heated Rivalries. He entered Week 5 in 3rd place at 3-1, lost to Trav (darryluvr3000), then lost to Mosko and now finds himself outside the playoff picture at 3-3.
THE WEEK NOBODY WANTED TO SCORE
Trav put up Week 6's highest score of 130.64pts, the lowest weekly high in Waxball history. The league averaged just 109.79pts, the fifth-lowest weekly average on record. Trav has now produced the week's highest score twice in a row immediately after producing its lowest: 84.78pts in Week 4, 149.34pts in Week 5 and 130.64pts in Week 6. No manager has ever gone from the weekly low to consecutive weekly highs before.
Will (poon messiah) put up the week's fourth-highest score and still lost to Trav 130.64-118.58. Will is still yet to defeat Trav, falling to 0-4 in their all-time series. He drops to 2-4 and 11th place despite a perfectly even 33-33 all-play record, the fifth-best mark in the league, while Trav climbs to 3-3 with his second consecutive win after finding himself in last place as recently as Week 4.
A NEW MI-LOW
Christian (Steeler Virginity) needed only the week's sixth-highest score to produce its biggest blowout, beating Milo (Nacua Matata) by 37.12pts. The 75.38pts is the lowest score of Milo's 23-game Waxball career and the lowest score of anyone so far this season. One week after climbing into the playoff picture, our defending champion falls to 2-4 and 10th place.
Lucky Christian moves to 4-2 and takes 2nd place with the league's lowest PA and the second-worst PF in the top eight.
FROM THE NORTH POLE TO THE SOUTH PAUL
League leader Miles E (Daddy Campbell) beat league dunce Paul (helloimpaul) 119.16-92.22, extending his winning streak to five and Paul's losing streak to three. Miles' run is tied for the second-longest regular-season winning streak in Waxball history, bested only by Erik's six straight in 2024.
At the bottom, Paul is seeing red everywhere: in the standings, in his hair and on the wax strips. 🙈 He leaves Week 6 alone at 1-5 while Miles leaves it alone at 5-1. The only previous Waxball manager to start 1-5 was Trav in 2025; he recovered to 6-8, but still missed the playoffs. No manager has started 5-1 and missed the playoffs: Miles is only the second to reach that mark, after 2025 Paul.
SHE'S A NEW YORK 3. AND AN LA 3. AND A CHICAGO 3. SHE'S A 3 BRO.
Six managers now share a 3-3 record, packing Blue, Erik, Nic, Havi, Trav and Mosko into the middle of the table. A single game separates 2nd place from 9th. More than six managers have shared a record only once before: seven teams were 2-1 after Week 3 of 2025.
Nic (Stat Fag) ended a three-game losing streak with the week's second-highest score and his highest score since Week 1, beating Erik 128.94-95.92. Erik drops from 2nd to 5th despite having the league's second-best point differential at +74.10. Both managers were without their first-round picks, with Nic's Amon-Ra St. Brown and Erik's Ja'Marr Chase on bye.
Sam (mistahbigdick) scraped out yet another win, this time edging Blue (blueballs) 114.90-109.30, tying their all-time series 2-2 and moving to 4-2. Lucky Big Dick is the only manager in the top seven with a negative differential at -14.06. His last two wins have come by just 6.16pts and 5.60pts, and his 4-2 record contrasts his 31-35 all-play score. There is precedent: Milo won the 2025 title with a 73-81 all-play record, while Mosko made the same playoff race at 76-78 and finished 3rd.
WEEK 7
WEEK 7 PREVIEW
Mosko's reward for completing the impossible reset is a meeting with first-place Miles, as Commish looks to tie the longest win streak in league history.
Nic and Trav are the only 3-3 managers to meet in Week 7, with both the winner and the loser guaranteed to separate from the pack. It is mathematically possible for seven managers to have the same 3-4 record after Week 7.
Havi tries to stop his two-game losing slide against 2-4 Will in a rematch of Waxball's lowest-scoring game ever, Havi's 78.50-63.72 win in Week 11 of 2025, while Milo attempts to recover from his career low against Erik, an opponent he has yet to beat.
Sam meets last-place Paul for only the second time ever after losing 140.90-127.12 to Paul in Week 9 of last season. Blue gets Christian in our Heated Rivalry of the week, although a fairly tepid one with a 56/100 Rivalry Score and a 2-1 record favoring Blue.
